Yarragon Hotel
Yarragon Hotel was built in 1926 and has provided travelers with friendly and efficient customer service for many years. The Hotel dining room has a reputation for consistently delivering great food for guests.
Now owned and operated by Chris and Renee Kemp the Hotel is situated in the main retail hub of Yarragon Village, a comfortable one hour and twenty-minute drive along the Princes Highway east of Melbourne. Since the change of ownership in December 2011 the Hotel has been awarded a Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence in 2017, 2016, 2015 and 2014, as a finalist in the Gippsland Business Awards for Hospitality 2013 and is the recipient of a “Sustainability Leaf” award with the Baw Baw Sustainability Network for sustainable business practices.
The Hotel dining room is open 7 days per week and offers guests a relaxing and intimate dining experience in Yarragon. Enjoy crisp white linen table cloths, silverware and full table service from knowledgeable staff. Service is hospitable and friendly and staff pay special attention to guest needs, including the accommodation of special dietary requirements.
Yarragon Hotel is a proud member of the local community and as such is committed to supporting local producers. The menu features local meat including goat, rabbit and beef as well as local produce including tomatoes and potatoes. All fruit and vegetables are purchased through Gaffney's of Warragul and meat from Morland’s Butchers.
A variety of tastes are catered for with traditional pub favourites such as the Chicken Parmigiana and Fish and Chips featuring alongside dishes such as Goat Korma Curry and Seafood Fettuccine. Coeliacs, Vegetarians and other dietary requirements are catered for and most welcome. Children are also welcome and have their own menu.
Bookings are appreciated and required for Friday nights, Saturday nights, and for Sunday lunch.
